Vista Squad - 2010: A Rosario Odyssey - 19th November

Exciting times at Vista Squad these days - This month we've got a treat for the developers among us!

Last month we gave you robots, this month Microsoft Corp's Jason Zander (General Manager of the Visual Studio Developer Division) will be popping in to discuss the 2010 road map for all things Visual Studio "Rosario" and .Net Framework 4.0 related - cool!

For the IT Pros, Jeremy Pack from HP will be in to discuss Hyper-V and System Centre Virtual Machine Machine 2008.  He has the distinct advantage of being a Microsoft partner and developing solutions in this field and should be a compelling talk.

Directions to Microsoft

Agenda

6pm - 6.30pm: Arrive and introductions
6.30pm - 7:30pm: Visual Studio Roadmap
7.30pm - 8:15: Break, food and drinks
8:15pm - 9:15: Hyper-V and System Centre Virtual Machine Manager 2008
9:15pm: Vista Ultimate Giveaway, Wrap up!

Please drop a comment below (you have to be signed in) to let us know you're coming - we're expecting a big crowd for this one!

About Gavin Osborn

After graduating from the British education system I've spent most of my career working for various Microsoft Partners in a technical capacity focusing on web technologies. In the last year I've had the pleasure of working for Dot Net Solutions as a Software Architect/Consultant working with a variety of technologies. More recently my focus has been on Silverlight, LINQ, Test Driven Development, Microsoft's SharePoint platform and of course the ever present ASP.NET. Oh... and I like beer.
