Squeeze all the speed you can!

Improve the speed & performance of your SATA hard disk by enabling write caching and enabling advanced performance.

     Warning!

There is an increased risk for data loss or corruption should you experienced a power loss So best done on laptops only. (Unless you are lucky enough to have a UPS)

     1. Click on the Start Button, right click Computer select Device Manager and agree to UAC.

     2. Expand Disk Drives

     3. Right-click on your hard disk drive and select Properties.

     4. On the Policies tab, place a check mark next to Enable Write Caching & Enable Advanced Performance.

     5. Click OK and close Device Manager.
